Our client is an industry leader in the design, construction, and maintenance of electrical and low-voltage systems in the Nashville Area. They are currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our Preconstruction Team.

We are looking for a full-time Project Manager Leader to pilot multiple concurrent projects. This will require participation in the conceptual development of projects and oversee each project’s organization, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractors, safety, quality, and implementation. The qualified leader is a self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, forward thinking and takes pride in a reputation for quality and building strong relationships. The ideal candidate interacts closely with the project team to Lead the way in the achievement of the project goals and objectives.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Scheduling project work, understanding and working with project milestones.
  • Managing material and subcontractors.
  • Responsible for project costs.
  • Manage project budget working with the superintendent and general foreman.
  • Verify contract compliance.
  • Support the installation team.
  • Communicating with the client.
  • Collaborate with other project teams.
  • Key in developing and strengthening relationships.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives.

Minimum Knowledge and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of the NEC.
  • Organized and can prioritize effectively.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Takes initiative, strong work ethics, pride in performance.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Accubid for change order estimating.
  • Field supervisory experience or technical college curriculum.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and material.
  • Good attitude demonstrates a sense of urgency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years electrical construction experience.
  • Electrical construction experience required.
